MADISON – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) urges anglers to help prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species by draining water from their boats and equipment this fishing season.
Mike Yurk had a fine day on the water of Deer Lake near St. Croix Falls in Polk County, catching and releasing at least two dozen largemouth bass. Some of the chunky fish were as long as 18 inches.
