The National Weather Service has now confirmed that a total of seven tornadoes touched down in Walworth, Racine and Waukesha Counties on the evening of Friday, April 17.
Milwaukee's tornado warning was issued following a warning in the western suburbs. That area, which has shifted north some, is now under a severe thunderstorm warning until 7:15 p.m. Winds up to 60 miles per hour and tennis ball-sized hail are possible, along with a tornado.
Severe weather chances continue for tonight, tomorrow, and Wednesday as we track another active week. We could see impacts from strong winds, large hail, heavy rain, and possible tornadoes.
