Here's our lovely Fox travelling over one of our bridges! 🦊🚂🎟 Fox was the first engine built for the KLR. It was built in 1987 by Brian Taylor in his workshop in Shepley, before the Kirklees Light Railway existed! Fox had a major, five year overhaul beginning in 2015 and returned to service in 2020. Fox is a 2-6-2 tank engine, based on an engine that was built by the Hunslet Engine Company in Leeds and was sent to work in India. Despite being the oldest of our engines, Fox is one of our harde
