WHAT the shell! 🐚 This miniature pottery cup thrown in the sea using only seawater and a shell. The sun popped out so I had to act fast and use just what I could reach! These small wheels from @small_ceramics make throwing pottery possible anywhere. I think they are easier to use than my big pottery wheel and they are definitely more fun! Here I’m using @potclays smooth earthenware from home BUT using this shell as a rib is definitely a pottery first for me, I love the profile it gives the clay
