Shang Yi Technology is testing an autonomous vehicle transportation system in Shenzhen. A tatami-like robot moves cars by crawling underneath and maneuvering them without needing to start the engine. It can navigate tight spaces using precise mapping and works indoors without emitting exhaust. Demonstrations in Yokohama also showcase remote control and multi-unit automation.
