Kamili has found a family and a future with us. While we will never know the exact circumstances that left her orphaned, we suspect her herd was forced to leave her behind when she no longer had the strength to go on. Now, she will never be left behind again. At our Nursery, she has found a herd of fellow orphaned elephants who are very keen to befriend her and though she remains very shy, she is regaining her spirit with each passing day.
