It was a good weekend for having our sponsors out here, Mainline Sales, Inc. and all their associates. It was great seeing them! We would’ve liked to have a little bit better performance and going out first round wasn’t our plan. We’re looking to move up into the Top five, but we have one more race to go! First of all, I want to thank the Wilkerson team for all their help between Rd.1 and Rd.2! After round one, we kicked the rods out and it made a mess. We wouldn’t have been able to make the next round without their help. Talk about a class act group! We were able to grab the round one win and a quarterfinal finish. Good news / bad news. We were on our best run ever! 3.11 et at half track! We were on a 3.83 run and I lifted early. The helmet came down and was blocking my eyes and I couldn’t see where I was going and I felt myself drift to the left, so I just had to lift and it’s a big boo-boo. We will do better tomorrow. I’ll fix that problem. Currently qualified 3 with our run of 3.895 at 290.57mph. #ReadingNats @sriperformance | @mcleod_racing | @silversporttransmissions | @ftiperformance | @densoautopart
