Alwar is 2.5 hours from Gurgaon and a good option for a day's trip . We visited Alwar Fort and the famous Hanuman mandir . En route we saw a lot of wildlife such as moneys , langurs , sambar , deers , peacocks , colorful birds. In fact we were fortunate to visit the Mandir as it had opened a day before only after being closed for the last few days due the tiger threat.
