A house has been destroyed by fire on Brisbane's southside. Emergency services were called to a home on Cook Street in Yeronga just after midday to reports of a house fully engulfed in flames. Residents as far as Highgate Hill witnessed thick clouds of smoke spreading across surrounding suburbs. Six fire crews battled the blaze which was extinguished by 1pm. It's unclear what sparked the blaze. One person has been taken to hospital with minor burns and two others are being assessed at the scene
