Whenever our local shelter calls for help, we show up! I honestly used to be shocked seeing these kinds of dogs in the shelter, now it’s totally common. I am so glad they called us because I am completely in love with all of them! ❤️ Thank you @mcdsdogs | Lee Asher

There’s no better feeling in the world to me than seeing a dog go from the euthanasia list at the shelter to being safe and free. It’s everything ❤️ | Lee Asher

My first stop after the sanctuary was one of my favorite animal shelters @mcdsdogs ❤️ We came in for one dog but of course we left with two! I’ll post a 2nd video tomorrow! Love y’all and I hope to see some of you in Texas this week! Austin on Thursday and Richardson on Friday! | Lee Asher

It started out as an animal welfare check and turned into one of the biggest rescue operations in Washington state history. Over 100 dogs were found in a small home and we were able to take four that were in terrible condition 💙 So many people have been involved in this case, thank you to everyone who helped save these beautiful dogs ❤️ @humanesocietyofskagitvalley 🙏 Also a huge thank you to @kellbellhill for helping save so many of these babies and also for transporting these 4 to us! | Lee A

I know we can’t rescue our way out of the overwhelming problem that shelters are experiencing around the world with being over capacity with dogs and cats but that won’t stop us from rescuing as many as we can. ❤️ | Lee Asher

After my recent Tacoma Humane visit, I Iearned that there is some controversy regarding the shelter and its ethics.Spending your time as a keyboard warrior trying to hurt an animal shelter is not doing the dogs any justice. This is for all of the animal rescues and shelters❤️
