It is officially Proptober! This is the time of the year, in the Houston area, that I start trimming back a lot of my fruit trees. Pomegranates tend to want to bush out so they throw out a ton of branches from the roots. I try to prune them back to a single main stem about 2 times a year to focus the energy on that one mature trunk. Just watch out for some GNARLY thorns! Pomegranates are SUPER easy to propagate!
