MILITARY MUSIC TRADITIONS | The bugle call "Tattoo" signals that all lights are to be extinguished and all loud noises and talking are to stop one hour after the call is sounded. This bugle call dates back to the 17th century, and was used to summon troops back to their garrison for the nightly roll call. Here, the call was sounded by Technical Sgt.
