Climate change impacts insurance rates: Iowa scientists

Hundreds of thousands of Iowans will start the new year having to figure out how they’ll afford their premiums doubling, all because Washington Republicans refuse to fight for affordable health care. Many will be forced to go without insurance, putting further strain on rural health care centers. In the only state with a growing cancer rate, we can’t afford moves that will increase uninsured rates and further hurt our rural communities.
