The Pfizer/BioNTech and Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines have met the extremely high safety standards set by the Therapeutic Goods Administration - TGA. The TGA will approve all COVID-19 vaccines that will be used in Australia. The vaccines do not use the live or whole virus that causes COVID-19.
