One of the easiest ways to learn about your new sewing machine is to create a stitch sampler. Sew all the different stitches in multiple lengths and widths, record each setting, and keep them together by your machine. Next time you want to use something other than a straight stitch, reference your sampler to find the best stitch for your project. We've made ours a little more fun by using a variegated thread! Stabilizer and the Satin Stitch Foot give the best results when using decorative stitch

Add some detail to your project with hand-look quilting stitches! 1)Select the hand-look quilting stitch if your machine has it. 2) Thread needle with invisible thread or match the thread to the fabric. 3) Wind bobbin with contrasting thread to be pulled to the top.
