Mie olen kvääni| In honor of it being The Kven People’s Day yesterday (March 16th)| The Kven people are a national minority in Norway, mainly living in the northern regions. They are descendants of Finnish-speaking migrants who came from Finland and Sweden in the 1700s and 1800s. The Kvens have their own language, Kven language, which is closely related to Finnish and was officially recognized as a separate language in 2005. Although the language is endangered today, efforts are being made to pr
