The South African Police Service in the Western Cape has launched an intensive manhunt following a brutal attack in Viscount Street, Rocklands, Mitchell’s Plain, on Tuesday evening, 02 December 2025. The incident claimed the lives of a nine year old boy, a 21-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, while two men aged 51 and 36 were wounded and rushed to medical facilities for treatment. Preliminary reports indicate that four unidentified gunmen opened fire on the premises before entering the house
