A huge thank you to Ajay Tegala and Isabel Sedgwick for taking the time to show Aneeshwar the wonders of Wicken Fen. It was an incredible experience to see how nature, wildlife, and conservation come together in such a special place. One of the most fascinating aspects was learning about the role of Konik ponies and Highland cattle in shaping the wetlands and protecting the peatlands. The Konik pony, a hardy breed from Eastern Europe, is perfectly adapted to the lowland landscape of Wicken Fen.
