Naturalist Adventure Guide: Yellow-Bellied Slider Today’s Naturalist Adventure Guide is about the yellow-bellied slider (𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘺𝘴 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵𝘢 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘱𝘵𝘢). Just like the red-eared slider, which was featured recently in another video, the yellow-bellied slider is not native to Ohio. The individuals found in the Lily Pond are most likely descendants from pet turtles. Unfortunately, they were likely released into the wild by owners who no longer wanted them. This is a common means o
