The Babi Yar Massacre, which occurred over two days in September 1941, remains one of the most horrific examples of mass murder during the Holocaust. In Kyiv, Ukraine, nearly 34,000 Jews, including men, women, and children, were rounded up by Nazi Einsatzgruppen (mobile killing units) and local Ukrainian collaborators. They were marched to the Babi Yar ravine on the outskirts of the city, where they were forced to undress, herded to the edge of the ravine, and shot in cold blood. Their bodies we
