To honor the occasion we caught up with Juanaleta DaRoza at Nathan Hale Elementary School where she’s kept the crosswalks safe for almost three years. A daughter of a former crossing guard, Juanaleta takes pride in making sure students reach their families safely across the street and she enjoys the relationships she has with students, parents, and staff.
