We're supercharging WA's cancer-fighting capacity at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Charlie's new state-of-the-art cyclotron is the State's second machine and has the potential to triple the hospital's ability to provide PET scans. Cyclotrons support our laboratories to produce radiopharmaceuticals, which are administered to patients requiring PET scans. This is one more way we're ensuring all West Australians can access the healthcare they need, when they need it. | Roger Cook

This week, 84 newly qualified nurses joined Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Osborne Park Hospital. The nurses will complete a 12-month newly qualified nursing graduate program where they will work in various clinical settings and specialties, allowing them to develop a broad range of skills and knowledge.
