How to Identify the ends of MICC Cable (Pyro Cable) In this video I demonstrate how to identify the ends of an MICC cable (sometimes called MI or Pyro cable) as the line and neutral conductors. Using a Megger MFT testing set to ohms I show how to short out a conductor to the outer copper CPC of the MICC cable at one end and test at the other end to confirm the conductor before identifying it as either line or neutral. Videos are training aids for City and Guilds (C and G) and EAL courses Level 1
